Don't leave health care to private sector: Letter | NOLA.com

Industrialized countries of the world believe everyone should have health care. They struggle to balance cost, quality and access. Achieving any two of these goals is possible, three is hard. When you throw profit into the mix, achieving all four is almost impossible.

In Louisiana it will be the 13th labor of Hercules for the private sector to give quality affordable care to everyone and realize its mission to make money.
